"Truely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others: we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men."

Foundation of Noble Friendship by Nipun Mehta

Date: 26th November 2015
Time: 10 to 11:30 am
Venue: Life Research Academy
Description: When Buddha was asked about the most important resource on this very long path of awakening, he spoke about "kalyan mitra" -- noble friendship.  Implicit in this idea is an invitation to understanding what is noble, and to learn how to create a friendship.  In this interaction, Nipun Mehta will share personal stories of how consistent acts of service inspired him to search for the good and over time, to find profound resilience in those affinites.
